• Your Employer  make sure to designate United Way of Hastings during the employee giving campaign at your workplace and make a payroll deduction to the United Way of Hastings.
  Double your donation – many employers match donations for current and retired employees.  Ask your employer about matching donations. If your employer doesn’t participate in a workplace giving campaign, call us at 651-438-3337.  We may be able to help you champion the cause at your place of work.

The Funds raised in Hastings stay in our community!
If you participate in a workplace campaign you have the option to designate your contribution to the United Way of Hastings. To be certain your contributions stay Hastings, you must designate United Way of Hastings. When you designate you funds to the United Way of Hastings, your dollars are funneled into local organizations. Without this designation your dollars can be sent to the national organization level. Designate and keep your donation local!

Contributions received by the United Way of Hastings... are handled very carefully. Trained local volunteers knowledgeable about community needs, spend hours to determine how the money can do the most, right here in Hastings. Hastings residents participate in this allocation process which uniquely qualifies each of them to assess and address the needs of the Hastings area. Every agency that receives funding must meet the highest standard of financial accountability and in addition must show the non-duplicated number of people served in the Hastings area within the past year. This way we can ensure that your contributions are being well spent.
