Forty-one Years ago...
a group of people in Hastings came together, realizing that there were people in the community who were in need and yet, there was no community organization which could provide support. This group of volunteers, originally called the United Fund, eventually evolved into the United Way of Hastings. Many of these volunteers are still in Hastings and continue to help where needed. |

 United Way is known nationally; however... The United Way of Hastings is a locally based organization that supports the people in our community. Hastings has long been known for its compassion and tradition. We are lucky to live in a place that has such a strong tradition of support and care for those in need. Summer Adaptive Sports is one example of the United Way of Hastings' direct support of a specific community need. |
