 Give Kids a Smile – February 5
Dentists and staff will work together to provide free dental care to kids who do not have access to dental care. Services offered in Hastings will vary from preventive care, which includes cleanings, sealants and fluoride treatment, to restorative care, which includes fillings. Mark Your Calendar – March 22 Annual Meeting & Recognition Event
Join us for our annual event on Monday, March 22, 2010, at the Event Center at Schoolhouse Square. Social hour with hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, & silent auction beginning at 6:00 pm followed by program at 7:00 pm. Open to all community members.
Help earthquake relief in Haiti
United Way Worldwide members in the Caribbean region have mobilized their staff, volunteer leaders and resources in response to the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that flattened Haiti's capital and is said to have caused over 100,000 deaths. Give to the United Way Worldwide Disaster Fund to support long-term recovery to rebuild lives and infrastructure.
 LIVE UNITED is a call to action for everyone within a community to think about the collective good of all of the individuals that we call friends, family, and neighbors. To LIVE UNITED is to think a little bit less about ourselves, and a little bit more about the unmet needs of others. We can all LIVE UNITED by Giving to United Way, Advocating for a cause, or volunteering your time.

If you participate in a
workplace campaign you have the option to designate your contribution
to the United Way of Hastings. To be certain your contributions stay in
Hastings, you must designate United Way of Hastings. When you designate
you funds to the United Way of Hastings, your dollars are funneled into
local organizations. Without this designation your dollars can be sent
to the national organization level. Designate and keep your donation
local!

United Way of Hastings we are working hard to improve the lives of

also working to address the underlying cause of the need within our
community. We do this by developing partnerships with local
organizations, local government and the Hastings School District to
